Frankenstein Exhibit

The Frankenstein exhibition is one of three recreations of scenes from famous books written during Queen Victoria's reign. This particular scene shows the moment when Frankenstein comes to life in the book by  Mary Shelley.

The scene shows a room in near darkness, lit only by flickering wall lights. There is a button for the visitors to press which triggers a four channel light controller and solid state sound store.

The audio track, which was created in a professional studio, narrates the story. The lights flicker until the moment the monster comes to life when he is illuminated by lightning and emits an almighty roar. The room then goes back to near darkness waiting for the next visitor to push the button.
